CBN is a compound from the hemp plant that is known to make you sleepy. To be clear, it is completely non-intoxicating, and completely grown from the ground. In our Stay Asleep formulation, 30 mg gives a higher dose of CBN than most other products on the market, which signals your brain to sleep, without switching it off. Melatonin is a hormone that your body creates, which regulates when you’re tired and when you’re awake. We have >1mg in our formulation to signal sleep in your brain, without overloading it and disrupting your circadian rhythm (which makes you groggy the next day). Terpenes and peppermint are known to relax the mind and body, in their natural forms. Together, the ingredients create a sleep-inducing blend that allow you to get those 8 hours in without tossing and turning, waking up groggy, or altering your brain state while you sleep.
When to take Stay Asleep
Sandland’s Stay Asleep is a pill, meaning you take it with a glass of water and it absorbs through your digestive tract. Because of its stomach absorption, it takes about an hour to kick in, but then lasts for hours (usually all night). We recommend taking Stay Asleep about an hour or so before you want to be asleep, when you’re beginning your bedtime routine. Pro tip: after taking, put your phone on airplane mode and say goodbye to the blue light until the morning.
